Kogakuin University has officially announced the launch of a prestigious global scholarly volume entitled “ Global Engineering Educational Management: Comparative Trends and Insights” which will be published by Springer Nature as part of the Emergent Directions in Engineering Educat ion book series. This publication marks a significant milestone in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Advanced Engineering. The initiative was formally announced at the School of Advanced Engineering Executive Meeting at Kogakuin University on January 19 th , 2026.
This forthcoming scholarly volume aims to bring together senior leadership faculty, academic leaders, engineering educators, and experts from more than 15+ countries. The primary goal of this book project is to serve as an international reference for educators, policymakers, and institutional leaders by addressing evolving trends in engineering education systems worldwide and by providing in-depth analyses, local perspectives, and case studies on complex future challenges. Through engagement with this international book project, Kogakuin University underscores its strong commitment to globalization and to enhancing the quality of engineering education through a collaborative framework.
The co-editors of this volume are Prof. Toshinori Okura (Dean of the School of Advanced Engineering at Kogakuin University) and Santosh Miryala (Visiting Scholar at Kogakuin University) who jointly led the editorial process.
