November 11, 2025 – The American Pediatric Society (APS) is pleased to announce the election of 92 new members to its distinguished community. Founded in 1888, APS is North America's first and most prestigious academic pediatric organization. New members will be formally recognized at the APS Howland Gala, held during the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) 2026 Meeting in Boston, April 24–27, 2026.

APS members are recognized child health leaders of extraordinary achievement who work together to strengthen academic pediatrics by expanding the workforce, nurturing leaders, and developing innovative approaches to address child and adolescent health challenges. Current members nominate new members by recognizing individuals who have distinguished themselves as child health leaders, teachers, scholars, policymakers, and clinicians.

“Each year, we welcome new members to the American Pediatric Society, and it is always an exciting moment. Our new members represent the future of our Society—bringing fresh perspectives, energy, and expertise. This year’s cohort is especially distinguished and diverse, with national and international leaders in education, advocacy, research, and clinical care. The APS Council looks forward to engaging with these accomplished individuals as we work together to advance our strategic plan and the mission of the APS.”
