Researchers have identified specific immune responses in patients treated with high doses of interferon alfa 2b to prevent melanoma recurrence. High-dose IFNa2b modulated the expression of MHC Class II antigens and increased natural killer cell activity, which may lead to better patient selection and therapy options.
