Hubbell will receive a plaque, $1000, and an acknowledgement of the award in an upcoming issue of the journal. In addition, an Elmer Gaden Award special session will be held in conjunction with the Biochemical Technology Division's program at the 229th American Chemical Society's National Meeting that begins on March 13, 2005 in San Diego, CA. The award will be presented by Professor Douglas S. Clark, Editor-in-Chief of Biotechnology and Bioengineering, and will be followed by an award lecture by Hubbell entitled "Bioresponsive Polymers in Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering." The award lecture will be held on March 15, 2005 at 11:30AM.
