Parth Pathak, Associate Professor, Computer Science, College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), received funding for the project: “Securing Shared Data Center Timing Infrastructure.”

He aims to create an AI-assisted cross-layer timing anomaly detection framework that can detect single-site and coordinated multi-site attacks on data center timing infrastructure.

Pathak received $100,000 from the Virginia Innovation Partnership Authority for this research. Funding began in Aug. 2026 and will end in late July 2027.
