The in-person Cell Culture Engineering XVII Conference has been postponed until October 16 - October 22, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona. To highlight the key role that the CCE community plays to free people worldwide from the shackles of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are planning two webinars during the original dates of the conference.

The first Webinar will focus on Vaccines which are a key part of the strategy to defeat the COVID 19 pandemic. In general, a successful COVID vaccine must be safe and efficacious with a low cost of goods, the ability to be manufactured at a scale of hundreds of millions of doses, and able to be distributed worldwide.

The second Webinar will focus on Therapeutic approaches to neutralizing the COVID 19 virus using antibodies and other Biologics. This will result in successful treatments with the goal of bringing these to market as rapidly as possible.

We hope you will find the webinar programs of interest and encourage you to register. Tim Charlebois (Pfizer), Gargi Maheshwari (BMS), Jamey Young (Vanderbilt University).
