A phase 3 study found that ibrutinib significantly lengthened progression-free survival as a second-line therapy for CLL, with 86% of patients on ibrutinib experiencing durable responses. Ibrutinib also showed superior results compared to ofatumumab in terms of overall survival and partial response rates.
