About The Study: Using data from 3,028 patients in a large COVID-19 oncology data registry, researchers found that multiple different patient demographic factors, such as race and ethnicity, underlying primary malignant neoplasm (diagnosis and extent of spread), multi-morbidity, geographic location, receipt of COVID-19 vaccine, severity of COVID-19 infection, and timing of COVID-19 diagnosis, were associated with delays in cancer treatment.
