NLM and Medical Library Association to support scholarships, recruitment for minority medical librarians
The National Library of Medicine is providing $102,000 to the Medical Library Association to strengthen programs for recruiting minorities into medical librarianship and increasing scholarship opportunities. The goal is to improve diversity in health sciences librarianship by attracting more minority applicants.
