HOBOKEN, NJ —Wiley (NYSE: WLY), a global leader in authoritative content and research intelligence, today announced the launch of two new journals: Advanced Medicine and Advanced Healthy Aging, the latest additions to its expanding Advanced Portfolio. Both journals, now open for submissions, are dedicated to elevating breakthrough science that impacts lives.
The launch of these titles, coupled with those added previously this year—including Advanced Oncology , Advanced Brain , and Advanced Immunology —further expands the portfolio to more than 30 journals and extends its reach into some of medicine’s most consequential areas of research, connecting disciplines and advancing science that improves human health.
The expansion reflects Wiley’s commitment to accelerating science that addresses humanity's most pressing challenges, giving researchers across a wide range of disciplines access to the trusted, author-focused publishing experience that has distinguished the Advanced Portfolio for more than three decades.
Advanced Medicine
Advanced Medicine is an open access, broad-scope journal dedicated to publishing the most significant advances across medicine.
Advanced Medicine is led by an editorial team comprising Editor-in-Chief Sui Seng Tee and Deputy Editors Xiaoyu Zhang and Alberto Oliveira Justo.
Sui Seng Tee holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and brings extensive experience in cancer metabolism, imaging, translational medicine, and interdisciplinary biomedical research, along with direct scholarly publishing experience. Xiaoyu Zhang earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from East China Normal University. He brings deep institutional knowledge and publishing experience, along with broad interests across the life and health sciences, to the role . Alberto Oliveira Justo’s work spans both fundamental and translational science, with interests across pharmacology, physiology, neurodegeneration, endothelial metabolism, and epidemiology. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Campinas.
Advanced Healthy Aging
Advanced Healthy Aging is an open access, interdisciplinary journal exploring the science of aging and why individuals age differently through resilience biology and lifecourse science. It seeks to advance the science of healthspan and heterogeneity in aging trajectories.
Advanced Healthy Aging is led by Editor-in-Chief Yixin Yao, who combines expertise in clinical medicine, biomedical research, scientific publishing, and healthcare leadership. She earned her medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and completed both her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences at New York University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Wiley in 2026, she held editorial roles at multiple leading journals.
