About The Study: In this systematic review and meta-analysis including eight randomized clinical trials, there were no significant differences in treatment success or major complications between operative and nonoperative management with antibiotics of acute uncomplicated appendicitis. However, hospital length of stay and appendicitis recurrence were significantly higher in the nonoperative management group.
