Frontiers in Science Deep Dive webinar series | Rebalancing the body’s cellular communication system could slow aging

10.23.26 | Frontiers

In a new Frontiers in Science lead article , researchers have outlined a bold plan for slowing aging by targeting one of the body's most important cellular communication systems.

Hear from the authors of the article— Prof Stuart Maudsley , Prof Graham Ladds , and Dr Silke Dodel —at a Frontiers in Science Deep Dive webinar on 10 December 2026, 15:00–16:30 CET . They will discuss why G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) may be central to healthy aging. The authors propose that coordinated, network-level approaches could address several drivers of aging at once, rather than one receptor or one disease at a time.

Join the authors to examine how artificial intelligence, systems biology, and digital twins could help design more precise GPCR-based therapies, including biased agonists, allosteric modulators, and combination treatments.

Joined by fellow experts, they will discuss how these approaches could work alongside senolytic, metabolic, and regenerative strategies, and how biomarkers of aging could guide personalized care.
