A study published in Cancer found that women with breast cancer who received care at a multi-disciplinary clinic had definitive treatment within 29.6 days, compared to 42.2 days for those seeing specialists sequentially. Patients are also more satisfied with their care, wanting quick resolution and comprehensive support.
