Demographic Reporting Requirements Did Not Improve Enrollment of Black and Hispanic Patients in Acute Leukemia Clinical Trials

Researchers analyzed data from 260 AML and ALL trials and found that enrollment of Black and Hispanic patients was significantly lower after the establishment of demographic reporting requirements. The study highlights the need for targeted enrollment diversification strategies to ensure all patients are represented in clinical trials.
